Randomocity #2

The sequel.

This is the post that’s meant to be a filler to let you know I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. Because I’m working on an actual POST…a devotion-type one…but I don’t want to post nothing until I’m finished, because I like to hear myself talk type. And honestly, it could take weeks months for me to have the time/discipline/quietness to sit down and organize it on paper the way it is in my head.

So until I actually have something to say, I’m going to say nothing.

1) Very often when I check on the kids before I go to bed, I get jealous of the fact that they have been asleep for hours and I’m still not in bed yet.

2) As I tweeted earlier, I have an overwhelming desire to use the word “Herr” lately as a replacement to “Mr.” As in “Herr Steely” or “Herr Magoo.”

3) If I ever attained any level of notoriety to where I could make ridiculous demands and get away with it, I would have in my contract that I wanted a bowl full of only orange and yellow Skittles in my dressing room.

4) I’ve had an uncontrollable craving for toffee lately. (No, I’m not pregnant.) I blame it on Ann who brought toffee into our cabin at the Women’s Retreat. Two and a half weeks ago.

5) According to the inconsistent and faulty scale at the gym, I’ve supposedly gained a few pounds since the half marathon. And by a few, I might mean more than a few. Surely this has nothing to do with the aforementioned toffee or the fact I’m not running between 6 and 9 miles a day.

I’ll spare you of the rest. Or post them as a trilogy.

Happy Tuesday!
